Eyedea & Abilities was an American rap duo affiliated with Rhymesayers Entertainment and consisting of DJ Abilities and rapper Eyedea.
As the emcee half of this legendary, underground U.S. hip-hop act, Micheal “Eyedea” Larsen was a widely respected Freestyler on the Emcee Battle scene. He had a natural ability for creating intricate, intelligent and poetic rhymes with an incredible talent for verbal performance, which in my opinion far out classed the talents of his mainstream peers. Sadly Micheal died in his sleep on October 16, 2010 from opiate toxicity, his Cause of death was ruled as an accident by the attending medical examiner’s office.
